Just try following steps it may work for you 1) Create 1 property on form2 2) Read the property value on form 2 (you can show it on text box) 3) On form 1 on selection of list box set the property of form 2 with item id 4) Show form 2 This logic may help you

i understand the first one but i want that,after getting item from listbox i want to show the details of that item on another form in form2 and the details of that item is present on my database table.Now what is the code for that Form2 loading?

You can get the currently selected item in the listbox (if there is one) with this code: if (listBox1.SelectedItem != null) MessageBox.Show("The selected item is " + listBox1.SelectedItem.ToString()); or display all the items in the listbox with this code: string message = ""; foreach(object item in listBox1.Items) { message += item.ToString() + "
