Well I can't tell you much about this class as I've never used it but it's documented here on MSDN: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.componentmodel.listsortdescriptioncollection.aspx Evidently it's used in conjunction with the IBindingListView interface to provide advanced sorting facilities for a BindingList.
