locked textbox

Question

Hello.
How can i create a textbox that its text doesn't change and seem like a regular textbox (white backcolor and black forecolor) ?
* : when I change Enabled property to false and change backcolor and forecolor, forecolor doesn't change to black.

You can do textBox1.ReadOnly = true; That would make you able to change the forecolor and the backcolor. When enabled is set to false the textBox becomes grayed out. This worked for me when I was in the same situation.

I know. but when Enabled is false fore color property doesn't change to black or something similar. I want to fore color become black. What should I do?

Create your textbox and on the right is a property list somewhere in the middle of that list is something saying Enabled which is set to True by default change that to False and noone can edit your textbox. Then I guess you can change some appearance on it. Thats the only thing I can think of hehe. :)
