Logic behind converting original Url to short Url

Hello Any one have logic behind creating an original url to tiny url and get back original url from that tiny url in c#?

You can use URLRewriting module. Download here: http://www.iis.net/download/URLRewrite You can change the URL from http://www.domain.com/product_details.aspx?id=1 to http://www.domain.com/book-1/ using this.
