Login Form (Username +Password) connecting with Mysql database in C#???

Question

Please provide me with information or code on how to
connect a login form (with username & password) with
mysql database??
The really problem is to create a login form in my pc and connecting this with
a mysql database in my pc too...
1)How do I achive that??
2)What tools I need except visual studio and mysql software??
3)What's the appropriate code to conncet my form with database above???

For accessing MySqldatabase from C#you can use mySqlConnection with connection string see this code sample: //create a MySQL connection with a Connection string MySqlConnection connection = new MySqlConnection( server=localhost;database= + Database + ;uid= + UserID + ;password= + password +  ); //open the connection connection.Open(); now you can access your database and check valid userid and password in your login form.. thanks Please mark as answere if it helps

First of all thanx about your answer. Via the login form can access some usernames & passowrds that are in database??? The database name is something like my_db.sglright??? The point is to check-via the form-if the given username & password is valid so you can logging in and continue what ever you want in the next forms.Is that possible with only this code??? If i have more than one or two valid usernames or passwords??? Anything else that is possible to need for this connection????
