Logout works on two clicks

Question

Hi I have created a button click event for logout on masterpage. I have to click twice the button get redirected to desired page. protected void btnLogout_Click(object sender EventArgs e) { Session.Abandon(); Session[StaffID] = null; Session[User] = null; Session.RemoveAll(); Response.Clear(); Response.Redirect(~/Logout); }

I solved the problem. I was using to redirect to page form which I was loging out using Server.transfer(); I just replaced it with response.redirect() and issue was resolved. Thanks any way for response Mr. Rajeesh .

I did that as well but in vain. I have tried almost all tricks and searched answers on net. It needs some expert to answer.

try this Create one page (logoutpage) design with what you need after Logout . Already created button that button click event just redirect to logout page. In logout page just write code bellow protected void Page_Load(object sender EventArgs e) { Session.Abandon(); Session.RemoveAll(); }
