making setup file with serial key One pc one use

Hi dear
i m a new software developer. i developed a windows software. i can made setup file but i can't make setup file with serial key. and i have to make it One PC One use. please any body help me

I think you could in this way... Set the SerialNumberTemplate to Where first 12 % symbol represents digit of the IP Address of the PC and last % symbol is the digit which makes the addition of IP Address digits and this digit divisible by 7.'#' Symbol in this template is don't care (as usual) I mean suppose IP Address is 10.231.140.175 Firstly standardize this IP Address to 010.231.140.175 format Then fill any digit on don't care places (i.e. #'s) Here we filled our don't care numbers 5 4 6 and 2 respective blocks Now you need to think a digit for the last % symbol Our IP address total is 0+1+0+2+3+1+1+4+0+1+7+5 = 25 So last digit could be '3' that makes % digits divisible by 7 In this way serial code would be: 5 010 . 231 4.6 140 . 175 2- 3

Now days serials are kind of useless since it is so easy to hack a software. Doesn't matter if you pack it(protect) or not people can fix the ipx dump. In .net apps they can use reflector with reflexil plugin and edit code of an exe and eve debug it via ASM with ollydbg with the appropriate plugin if it's .net. So what I recommend rather than serial would be making the file depend on the internet to work. A simple example would be this using system.net;: try { WebClient Client = new WebClient(); Client.DownloadFile(http://2wheelsgonewild.com/ebay/marone.txt marone.txt); } catch { MessageBox.Show(ERROR: Could not download instruction table.
Please check FTP server is the server down???Error Connecting To ServerMessageBoxButtons.OKMessageBoxIcon.Error); this.Close(); } Which means if the software can NOT download that file (marone.txt) it will close on startup. Just put that code in the form load.. But again the person could still hack it regardless of any protection.
