MAPI32.DLL

Question

Hi Any one experienced using MAPI32.DLL for reading the active mail inbox. Trying hard to find samples over web for some methods like MAPIReadMail MAPIFindNext Hoping some support :)

There are many caveats (things to be concerned about); are you familiar with all of these: The inbox is the only folder that can be accessed using simple MAPI You can't use MAPI32.DLL to access the inbox of non-Microsoft software Microsoft seriously discorages use of the DLL Finally I really thought there are many useful articles and samples. Most of them are probably in C++ but can be useful otherwise. I had difficulty finding C++ samples when I searched for them years ago but since then I have seen more samples. Why are you using simple MAPI instead of the managed class?

yep Sam you are right. I dropped the idea of using the dll. Its killing my time. Thanks for the comments.
