How is asp.net 2 Master page different to normal html frame.

Well is this a question from ure college assignment Dude?? :)))) anyway dont mind what i said :) Well the foremost difference is that frames act as containers to individual pages  whereas MasterPages are MasterPages are sort of template which is global for ure entire application. In master pages every portion is a content and not indivial page. In frames when u go to another page the link does not changes where are in MasterPages going on another page changes the link in the browser as the actual link of the page. Moreover the frames do not get re-loaded whereas content in master pages get re-loaded each time the page is posted back. That is all whats there on the surface.
