MDI Forms creation

Question

Hello I want to create a small project to enter customer records and it's associated banks. Please advise how can i create using MDI forms parent/child. Thanking You Bharati

Hi You can add the new MDI Form from Add New Item. And In the designer itself you can create the menu for your data entry project. And After created the menu item double click that menu to link the other form to that menu. The code behind will be shown. From that you can add the following code: Form frm = new Form1(); frm.showDialogue(); frm.MDIParent(this); the MDIParent(this) method will help us to make the form link with the active parent MDI. showDialogue() help us to avoid the duplicate form of same menu item.
