Means of Orient in OOPs

Hi Friends.. I know OOP stands for Object Oriented Programming. I know very well about object but I want to know what is the mean of Orient in OOps. Please tell me anyone with an example ? Thanks

Hi Vineet Object Oriented Programming is programming which is oriented around objects thus taking advantage of Encapsulation Polymorphism and Inheritance to increase code reuse and decrease code maintenance.
