Hi Faisal - probably a bit late but I made myself one of these recently thanks to the help of the articles listed by Javeed. You can see the results here: http://dotnetmackenzie.blogspot.com/2011/11/wpf-media-player-with-lastfm.html It only took a few hours and includes interaction with Last.fm for recommendations etc.
