I hope Microsoft fixes any bugs in the Skype code and does a better job of making the software more reliable.

Yes. I think lot of small businesses use Skype and it will give MS access to those users.

Skype already a great tool lots of people using across the world.. All the good functionalities of Skype benefits Microsoft. Microsoft has bought Skype for $8.5 billion in an all-cash deal. The deal closed a few hours ago. http://gigaom.com/2011/05/09/why-microsoft-is-buying-skype-for-8-billion/
