Microsoft JScript runtime error: Invalid argument. in IE

Hi all i am getting this error in my javascript function definition. which takes one parameter

in IE

f1(path)

{

...

}

calling statement

f1('imgs/imgname.jpg'); return false;

plz help

If that does not solve the problem then provide a very small sample javascript that re-creates the problem. If Vulpe's suggestion solved the problem then please mark it as such.

It's a difficult one to guess but I'd try instead: f1('imgs\imgname.jpg');
