Microsoft SAPI voice change

I can list the different voices available in SAPI 5.1 as follows. for (int i=0;i<Voice.GetVoices(str1str2).Count;i++) { MessageBox.Show(Voice.GetVoices(str1str2).Item(i).GetDescription(i) VoicesMessageBoxButtons.OKMessageBoxIcon.Information); } How do I change to a different voice? Thanks Theron

James You could either use SAPI 5.1/5.2 via Interop or try the new .Net Speech SDK (beta) to provide TTS functionality in .Net I believe C# samples are available with both SAPI download and the .Net speech SDK download/order. - dip

Okay I'm curious..what are the base classes for Text-to-Speech in .Net? I'd like to do a little app to read my name how do I get started? -James
