Multiline in listview

Hi
In my webform there is list view in that multiline textboxex are there
in bottom edit button is when i click the edit button
i started enter into the textbox like
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
like this

when click the update button the above text is displaying in one line
like
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
plz i want to displayed in multiline when i click the update button plz help me

In a multi-line textbox text entered by the user will be automatically wrapped to the next line but no new line characters will be inserted into the Text property unless the user presses the enter key. To preserve any new line characters that are added when displaying elsewhere you can do: Label1.Text = TextBox1.Text.Replace(Environment.NewLine  );

Hi actually in my project my clients are entering too many lines of characters when we reach the maximum limit of first line and againstarted entering in differnet line i want break the line how to change the propoerties

Hi Karthik You have not given any space betwwen the words. So it has considered as one word. Please give space whereever required. It will automatically break the line. Thanks Biswa
