I will suggest not to go with MVC2. Instead go for MVC-4. Already MS have released MVC-5. MVC-2 and MVC-3(Razor) are totally different in syntax. To answer your question :- Everything is important. I will name few like :- RoutingSession ManagementRedirection etc.
