MVC + Close Browser in Chrome Firefox

Question

When we use window.close() it works in IEbut in Chrome and Firefox following error comes Scripts may not close windows that were not opened by script Is there any workaround in MVC to close browser on button click

Hi Pappu please add this netscape . security . PrivilegeManager . enablePrivilege ( UniversalBrowserWrite ); in closeWindow function before window.open.I have already changed the same above.
