My console window disappears with in fraction of sec

Hi All I wrote a simple console program and executed the exe file by clicking on it. It displays the text and disappears with the fraction of second. Any way is there to avoid it Thanks in advance Sridharan.M

Hi I wrote a simple console program and executed the exe file by clicking on it. It displays the text and disappears with the fraction of second. --> Well that is normal. Try to use a command prompt instead and run the exe. Say go to start --> run --> type cmd then go to the location of your directory exe type Console1.exe It will not close down the UI. The other way is to use Console.ReadLine() as explained above... Cheers.

Run the program by selecting: Debug/ Start without debugging (Ctrl-F5) instead of: Debug/ Start (F5) Otherwise you need to add: Console.ReadLine() on the last line to pause the program before it ends.

Try adding this at the end: Console.WriteLine(Press enter to continue...); Console.Read();
