Need a Career Guidance for software developer

Question

I have simple question but don't know exact answer. I have 1 year & 3 months experience as a software developer(.NET). I want to work in IT industry.But completing tasks and gaining experience can boost my career ? or are there any ways to boost career?(like any courses that improve my value or I will become unique)

Experience is the main thing. Apart from that you can do Microsoft certifications and database certifications. They add value to your project. Also always practise new technologies on your own for self learning.
