need help in showing alert mess detecting browser.

Question

Hello Friends

ACtually I have one prob in site. to solve this problem. I have to implement this funcationality in my website.

actully i have to stop user if they are watching site in Internet explorar.

Means i have to create functionality which detect at home page in which browser website is open if firefox and google then it's ok but if the user is open website in internet explorer then i have to put popup message or something like popup window to show mes that "For better out use mozila firefox or google chrome or other browser than Internet explorar."

Omkar Instead of prompting users better show an simple message on home page. This site is best viewed with FireFox and Google Chrome only. Lots of people uses IE showing alert sometimes backfires. Its good to show above message. If you want to check browser details: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/3yekbd5b.aspx This can be done with JavaScript also.
