need help MVC4

Question

Hi I'm a student of TAFE. I created few tables as Login Customer and Account. An Account table details as Account Detail as ID Type and Balance and i don't know how to transfer some amount between accounts.

What I understand you need to update Balance between some records in Account table. Right? in mvc4 you can have AccountDetailsController with PUT method which will leverage AccountDetail model to update data e.g. Model class AccountDetail { public int ID; public int Type; public float Balance; } AccountDetailsController [HttpPut] class AccountDetailsController : BaseClass //I assume this base class is leveraging any //framework for db update like PetaPoco public void UpdateAccounts { AccountDetail ad=new AccountDetail(); ad = AccountDetail .FindByID(1); ad.Balance = 222; ad.Update(); }

Sorry for late response! I was out last week! So what I understand is within same table you want to update data among different records ? Right. This is simple problem where you can use UPDATE queries or any ORM (PetaPoco or Massive) to leverage Update() function? A customer shall be able to initiate fund transfers from one account to another account in the same bank and belonging to the same customer for example from savings to checking or checking to savings. The user shall provide two accounts and request fund transfers between accounts. Once the user has chosen the accounts and has indicated the amount of the transfer the system shall verify that sufficient funds are available to perform the transfer. If successful the transfer amount shall be debited from the current account and credited to the specified account~ otherwise no transfer shall take place and the user shall be notified appropriate1y

I have data already in and need to transfer the data from credit to saving account...and i used ... To Login need to use c100 and password is password100. thank you for advance...
