Sir(s)/Ma'am(s) I'm about to do a winter training from MTA but I've a question. Which one would be better to go for ASP.NET or PHP with MySQL?

Always keep going with current technologies which are using. I suggest you to go with ASP.NET and also with any of the Mobile Platform Development. (Andriod or iOS)

i suggest you join for training on android or Asp.net with latest technology like XamarinMvcAngularnodereact etc. if you are fresher first read oops concept and basic htmlcssjavascrictany database .
