Need suggession

Question

hi.. i m going to make one project of one electronic shop

its system of customer and selling items:

items like DTH,TV,DVD,Home Theaters etc.

now the shop keeper selling this items of the prices based on the relation with customer and based on the maximum item the customer buy

suppose a customer buy 1 DTH then the price is 1200 bt if he want 50 DTHs the he get 1100 of 1 DTH that mean 100 less

now the system is for the shop keeper. he wants to make the system to remember the price of all items to particular customer for particular item.

suppos customer "C" is selling DTH to "A" with price 1100 and "B" as "1200" so how to adjust and store this info.

i m confusing in which i make this i mean should i use

"MS Access" or

C# or

Asp.net ?

hello.. m not getting idea about product with customer. i have made my projcet. plz check this. in custodetail.aspx there is list of customers. when user clicks on any customer -> display.aspx will be opened. now in this display.aspx i want data for that clicked customer in the format which i have shown in exel file

hi.. ok now i have chosen to asp.net now i want 2 make 2 pages. 1st page shows 3 fields in table vies Customer ID : Customer Name : Contact when we click on customerid it should open new page customerinfo.asp here the items related to that particular customer n price for that customer should be should. i m confuse in this how to make this table. i have made 2 tables 1st for product.:product name price code 2nd for customer_detail. :customer namecontactcity so should i have to provide relationship coz every customer's price for particular product is different what to do?

Hi Diya You will have to use MS Access (Or you can use anyother database like SQL server.) to store data such as price for each customer. Then if you like the system to be web based then you will have to use ASP.net. Again you will need C# also for connecting to database etc. If you like the system to be a windows application then you can simply go with C#. If your question is where to store the amount and quanity values of each customer you need to do them in Database and you can take MS Access if dont want to go for sql server.. You can have a table with cistomer details.. custname id firstname lastname dob dateofjoining.... and you can have a transaction table with custid totAmount items itemcode discount...

Diya  No need to change technology like Access or SQL Server etc all you need to do is Database Design Think logic of Relation between Entities in database ..and How you will store all those info database ..database is all .. its not language specific ..like C# or access etc ..
