Need to convert Html TO Image

Hi

I'm facing a problem.Help me out..
I need to convert HTML to JPEG. This HTML contains both data and image. Is there any way to convert this? or Is there any way to convert HTML to PDF and again PDF to JPEG?

Hi here is another solution that you can try. I found it to be very convenient and straightforward: // Convert HTML to JPEG. DocumentModel doc = DocumentModel .Load( Sample.html  LoadOptions .HtmlDefault); doc.Save( Sample.jpg  new ImageSaveOptions ( ImageSaveFormat .Jpeg)); // Or convert HTML to PDF. DocumentModel doc = DocumentModel .Load( Sample.html  LoadOptions .HtmlDefault); doc.Save( Sample.pdf  SaveOptions .PdfDefault); The code uses this C# library for Word document processing and you can notice from the above sample that it has an intuitive api for converting html files into a pdf-s with C# . Also you have a LoadText instance method which you can call on document's content to load a HTML formatted string.

T ry this html to image converter. In this demo you can convert an URL or a HTML code to an image. You can select the image format (PNG JPG BMP) and the browser width in pixels. When the selected image format is PNG it is also possible to choose if the image background is transparent when the HTML document does not have a background.

Hi Chaitanya I have used IECapt exe which I got it from sourceforge site. I exactly don't remember what I did but I think I run the exe through c# code and provided the both path for html and the final destination where u want the image to be saved. Just search with tag IECapt you will get more info. Thanks Krutika Suchak

Hi Thanks For your reply. Let me explain you whole scenario I am using a web part. I need to give a option like Save this web-part as an Image. So what i'm doing is taking HTML content of a webpart and now I want to save this html content to JPEG. If I use webbrowser then whole page content will be coming. I need only a web-part's content..Is there any solution??

I have found 2 effective solutions to this. First of all you'll need to transform whatever Html you want to a new xhtml file/stream (XHTML is a newer generation of html markup stated in XML). Or you can configure your ASP.Net application to render XHTML content. Step 2: you'll need to transform XHTML to FO(formatting object language) using a XML Stylesheet (XSL transformation). Step 3 Convert FO file/stream to a PDF file. You can achieve this step by using an opensource compiled dll called nfop which is hosted on sourceforge.net. Step 4. Convert PDF file/stream to an image file/stream. I am aware there are some third party API out there for doing this step but they are not cheap unless you want to implement your own converter. You can probably skip this step if you can find an API to convert XSL-FOs to images directly. So basically here is the streamline process. HTML ------->XHTML -----FO ---------PDF ------------JPEG XSL NFOP Converter Depending on the context a WebBrowser Control could be used to do this. If you create a Control that derives from the WebBrowser Control you should be able to override the OnPaint method and pass a Graphics instance to the base class's OnPaint Method to get it to draw on an image.
