.Net framework 4.0 installation problem

Hi I already have installed VS 2008 and .net 3.5 is the latest i have. Should i install .net 4.0 onlyis that enough or should i install VS 2010 completely.. Whats the difference between the two?

hello if you want to run an application developed in 4.0 .net framework 4.0 is sufficiant. but if you want to develop an application in 4.0 version you should install vs 2010.
