.Net is a framework for managed code and assemblies. .Net code can be written in any language that has an CIL compiler. The term ASP is an acronym for Active Server Pages. ASP.NET makes use the core .NET framework to accomplish it's goals, and is available in several languages (E.G. C#, VB). ASP.Net MVC is an MVC framework built on ASP.Net to develop only web application. Note: It is not like .Net is better than ASP.NET. Hi, .Net is a framework, If you want to build any application using Asp.Net then you need one building foundation like as constructing a house or building construction so here we use .Net framework. This framework will contain CLS,CLR,CTS,etc. The memory management also handing through .Net framework. MVC is stand for "Model View Controller". it's a design pattern and you can easily handle and reusable the code.
