New to Mobile Development Need suggestions

Hi I'm merely new to development an coding. I'm interesting in mobile apps and some front end. I've heard the integration of Xamarin and Visual Studio to produce cross-plataform apps. I need suggestions Where to start? What tools do I need? Documentation for a starter programmer. Steps to follow. Thanks!

Xamarin is the good one for mobile development. As you said there is a nice integration with Visual Studio and they have their own IDE called Xamarin studio. You can develop Windows / android / IOS app using C#. So no need to learn all the languages. Another good thing is Microsoft going to acquire Xamarin so the support will be great in future.
