ng-resource with angular js

Question

can we call a web method using ng-resource in factory pattren in angular js . (note in simliar ways how we call web method using jquery with in aspx cs page ) 1.) please give me code snippt not any link to refer

I'm just giving you an option because I awalys use Web API to work with resource in angular. You should have specified in your question that you are not interested or know already about the $http service stuff. Again I never tried calling a Web Method in angular but you could try doing something like this if it doesn't hurt you :D Suppose that you have this WebMethod: [WebMethod] public static List GetStudent() { List lstStudents= new List () { new Student{Id=1Name= Student1 Semester= 5th Credits=15} new Student{Id=2Name= Student2 Semester= 4th Credits=20} new Student{Id=3Name= Student3 Semester= 7th Credits=12} new Student{Id=4Name= Student4 Semester= 8th Credits=18} new Student{Id=5Name= Student5 Semester= 6th Credits=15} }; return lstStudents; } in your app.js declare the app module like: varapp=angular.module( 'app' [ 'ngResource' ]); then in your data service js you do something like this app.factory( 'student' function(pageMethods$rootScope){ varresult=[]; pageMethods.GetStudent(function(data){ data.forEach(function(item){ result.push({id:item.Idname:item.Namesemester:item.Semestercredits:item.Credits}); }); $rootScope.$apply(); }); return result; ) then define a controller js like: app.controller( 'studentsController' function($scopestudent){ $scope.student=student; });
