not taking image from project folder

Question

Hi All,
I made a desktop application in which it takes background image from folder. I copy my project bin folder into another machine. When I click exe file from the folder it takes image from project folder.

When I copy exe file on the desktop, It is not taking images anymore? Am I missing relative path?

You have to make the build type as Embedded Resource. Steps: In the Solution Explorer window in Visual Studio, click on the file you want to embed. In the Properties windows, change the Build Action to Embedded Resource.

I wrote in form load event like this: this.BackgroundImage = new Bitmap("images//backgroundimage.jpg"); System.Drawing.Icon ico = new System.Drawing.Icon("images//backgroundimage.ico"); this.Icon = ico; These images are displaying when I click exe file from the folder. I copied the same exe on my desktop and it is not displaying images on my form. Thanks, Darma

It would be good if you explain what control are you using. Where the background image is displayed? What kind (format) of image you want to show? If you could add some source code you are trying to make it work, it would be even better.
