Hi Guys

NP123 Syntax

In the msdn website Syntax has been explained. But I couldn’t understand it. For me it looks like strange. For example in the following website Syntax of C# is explained, anyone knows please explain the meaning.

It probably looks strange maha because you're not used to seeing classes which have attributes - the items surrounded by square brackets. What it's actually telling you is that: 1. StringBuilder is a public class in the .NET framework which is sealed so no classes can be derived from it. 2. It implements the ISerializable interface. 3. It can be serialized. 4. It's visible to the Component Object Model (COM) - don't worry what this means. MSDN uses these gray syntax boxes so you can see at a glance what you may need to know about a particular class or type expressed in the .NET language which you use.

Serialization is the process of converting complex objects into stream of bytes for storage. Deserialization is its reverse process that is unpacking stream of bytes to their original form. Syntax has nothing to do with programming. I just gave you the definition of syntax. It's how something is written. The website is saying that the following grey box is how the code is written in C#. So they say the Syntax for C# is....(grey box).
