number to words in Crystal Report ?

Hi Friends  I have Using the Crystal Report in My Application.In that One GrandTotal Field is there In That Report i want to Display the Numbers to Words in the Crystal Report.. Kindly Guide If AnyOne Knows this .. Thanking You  - Karthik Che ..

Hi You can use ToWords() Function in Your Crystal Report... e.g. currencyvar tt; currencyvar dect; tt :=100.30; dect := tt - Truncate(tt); tt := truncate(tt); dect := dect * 100; if dect = 0 then 'Rupees ' + ToWords (tt0 ) + ' Only' else 'Rupees ' + ToWords (tt0) + ' And Paisa ' + ToWords(dect0) + ' Only ';

Hi Follow the steps: 1) right click on your formula field In crystal report viewer 2) click edit formula 3) formula workshop window will open 4) left side of the window u have 'report custom functions' 5)right click and select new 6)give the name for function 7) and the right top you have a drop down. it shows 'Crystal Syntax' as default 8)change this to basic syntax. 9) save the function.
