Hi Ravi, I think you didn't mean what you wrote, I guess you want to know how to build a long term Career in .NET. There is not an easy recipe for Career growth and success. It takes a lot of work and learning. I am sure you must have realized that today's technology demands a lot and things are changing too fast. By change, I didn't mean .NET will go away; what I meant is that there is a lot of momentum in technology area. So what someone can do to stay longer in technology market. Just keep up with skills regardless of technical or personal. Work on both at the same time and whenever opportunity is given. Also, stay in your technical domain, don't start learning every language you get your hands on. Focus on your strengths and utilize your past technology related experience to build upon. Ravi, There is no life setting job. In Current market- technology and way of programming is changing drastically. Every year / next quarter new version of language, new language, tools are coming in market. There is only one mantra- Keep learning, Keep yourself updated on technology front. Learn as much as you can. Try to help your colleagues, peers, community. Take joy of giving / contributing to technology. Write blogs, answer queries. Its joy is more than your job satisfaction.
