only 2 question about linq and dataset

Question

hi all hi all my first question which better data source for forum article ( Posts  replys  images ... etc) xml or dataset or linq ??? i want to use dataset  it will be enough and efficient? q2-i dont found any article in the web pages discuss how to use Sql Data Types (varchar()nvarchar()..... etc) in linq . in dataset and datareader we know cmd.addparameter.withValue but in linq i dont know how to use it ??? there is any examples of how to use sql datatype in linq by stored Procedure??? and my last question Using Stored Procedure in linq has the same efficiency on Using Linq query syntax??? i dont want to use linq query  because i have complex queries so that i have discussed to use Linq with stored Procedure its has the same performance?? thx alot all

LINQ Still Needs Improvement to Beat the ADO.net Architecture . LINQ its very easy to access database as it uses c# 3.0 Syntax to access database Syntax of Writing Query is Advantage in LINQ thats it . main thing Support is not available on Internet as Compared to ADO.net . Happy Coding Dear :)

hi  thank u agian my dear  the reason that let me to ask this question that million of developers leave ado.net and move to linq  saying that linq is faster and light on memory this is was main reason make me worried about datasource

m fine dear friend nice to see you again here :) Use ADO.net ( DataSet etc ) as Solution because in reading data ADO.net Wins as in Inserting and Deleting they both are seemly equivalent so better to use ADO till Microsoft Introduce something new in LINQ that can be faster then ADO.net in reading Data :) majority forum operations are based on reading searching data so performance is better to choose one more suggestion : LINQ is still new so you will also not get Proper Support becase developers are new to That Technology .

hello my freind  how are u ? thank u for ur replying :) hmmm in fact i want the faster and More efficient  i dont care about easy technique  im caring about the faster and more performance ??? what u suggest me to use?? i want to make some thing like Forums ( Articles posts  images and others heavy data) whats ur suggest?

Hi Friend Here is Explanation what you needed  Linq is new Introduced technology by Microsoft that Can make you programming easy by using Language Integrated Query you can use linq to Access Database Tables Make Query on them as we do on DataSet or Using DataReaders as by LINQ to SQL Class it is easy to write query after Adding All those Database objects into LINQ to SQL Class but Still it Access Database Directly so advantage is that user can easily query the Database using LINQ like var query = from O in dbNorthwind.Orders where O.Customer.Country== Italy foreach( var c in query ) { ListBox1.Items.Add(c.ToString()); } but in Performance Data-set is Disconnected From Database so it can perform faster than that but have to Write Cumbersome Queries then LINQ in Reading Data ADO Wins and In Inserting and Updating Data Both are seems to be equivalent Happy Coding :)
