Only selected item for combobox

Question

I have a combobox in visual studio 2015 by C#. I want than only selected item will be submitted in database any written something will not be submitted in database. Please code or example.

hi shovan in your question any written something will not be submitted in database means what??? from that i understand you don't want to write in combobox. want only select. for that you want to change the combobox dropdownstyle to dropdownlist in properties. then use combobox1.text in code to get selected item.
