Open file ASP .Net Web Page

Question

Hi I need to open a file (like open file dialog control does) in a web form. It has to be that way because the path is unknowed. The file content is going to be readed and stored into an sql server database. Any clue?

Use File Upload control fullpath = FileUpload . PostedFile . Filename ; this is working perfect for IE 6 but In IE7 its Different .

the file open dialog is a winform control on the web there is no such option. you can use this: http://www.ckfinder.com/ this is an ajax file manager you didnt state what is your needs but it has multiple file managment options and its very costumizable
