open files with program

I've written a c#.net program to edit my own kind of files. Now I want to open files with my program: When you click, in explorer, on files with my extension, my program starts and you can edit the document.

you'll need to associate your file extension with the operating system. You can do this with the file explorer. Once you do this it should call your application with the name of the file. You can at this point extract the filename from the arguements and open your file using your application.
