Using the Microsoft compiler the result of the expression is 1. If both operands of the && operator are non-zero (as here) then the result is 1. However if one (or both) of the operands is 0 then the result is 0.

In C# that expression is invalid. You can't apply the && operator to int operands. Do you perhaps mean C or C++? In those languages the expression would have a non-zero value (typically 1) which corresponds to the bool value true.
