Output files stored in the Debug Folder

Question

How come the files that my application processed is automatically saved in the Debug Folder, even though I've provided another directory to save them... All my parameters are correct. What settings should I change in VS2005?

Are you using Application.StartupPath in part of the definition used to define the storage location on your file system. If so in debug the application will start out of the debug folder (or release folder when running from the IDE in Release mode). This will change when the application is actually installed to the installed location of the application.
