Hi, First invoke base class constructor and then after derived class constructor example. class A { public A() { } public A(string d) { } } class B : A { public B(string f) : base(f) { } public B() { } } when I create B b =new B("mystring"); first this will call A(String) method and then B(String). hope this help.

Constructors are invoked in order from base class (parent class) first to inherited class (child class) last.

If you see this example using System; class Base { public Base() { Console.WriteLine("Base Constructor Version 1"); } } class Derived : Base { public Derived() { Console.WriteLine("Derived Constructor"); } } class MyClient { public static void Main() { Derived dObject = new Derived(); } } The base class will be executed first and then super class next.
