1 parent table and 5 child tables

I have 1 parent table and 5 child tables. how can source datagrid without using a view sqlserver? grazie....thanks!!!

thanks, but i have 1 parent and 5 child? Schema database is into ado.net (file dbmx) with relactions. Must i repeat relactions in the query linq o no? thanks

yes. You can just bind the IQueryable result from LINQ to the DataGridView. for example : var q = from cust in dc.Customers where cust.FirstName == someString select cust; gridview1.DataSource = q; gridview2.DataBind();

Thanks to all ... If I use to populate a viewsql unadatagrid , when I update the data, datagrid does not update. The datagrid does not update either by forcing the refresh of the domain Contex by XAML . i try with storedprocedure.... thankssss viviano

Try to create a sql query of stored procedure by joining those tables, Then use the selected result to bind the datagrid.
