passing arguments to main function

why we should pass only string arguments to main function why can't we pass int arguments in main funtion???

you can pass any type that you can implicitly convert from a string to that type.

I think it is a convention also Java use the same think in the entry point of a given application

The language has been designed so that the Main() method takes either a string array parameter or no parameters at all. The thinking probably is that you can pass virtually any type of data in string form. If you want to pass ints then you can simply use int.Parse to convert each argument from string to int.
