passing values to method

I have  public void AddAsync (T entity) where T : IEntity; method from DataService class I have class SalesReceipt and i want to add this SalesReceipt in AddAsync method . like DataService dataService = new DataService(serviceContext); OnlineSalesReceiptQBEntry SalesReceipt = new OnlineSalesReceiptQBEntry(); SalesReceipt .AutoDocNumber = 1010; SalesReceipt .ApplyTaxAfterDiscount = True; dataService.AddAsync(SalesReceipt );//error line How to call this method/ add SalesReceipt to AddAsync().

All I can tell you here is that the AddSync method is expecting to be passed a parameter which implements the IEntity interface. As you're getting an error on this line: dataService.AddAsync(SalesReceipt) evidently the OnlineSalesReceiptQBEntry class doesn't implement the IEntity interface. So if OnlineSalesReceiptQBEntry is a class you've written yourself you'll need to alter it so that it does implement this interface if you want to use the AddAsync method.
