PDF TO WORD File

Question

Hi all...

How do I convert a given PDF File to Word File in C#.NET (ASP.NET) ??

I have tried the following -
1) iTextSharp dll - It does not work.

2) Solid Documents - It is not free dll.

Hi dear... Extremely sorry for late reply... I am looking for a code / 3rd party dll that can convert any pdf file to word file. PDF File can contain text images watermark etc. anything. SautinSoft trial version converts only first three pages. Hence I asked for its crack key. Please help.

This depends on the PDF files that you want to handle? Are they text based or image based? If they are image based you will need something with OCR features to recognize the text in these PDF files. However are you looking only for free SDKs? If you are open for all options there is a commercial library that converts PDF to Word and other formats which is Leadtools. This toolkit contains both PDF and OCR support. I think you can find more info on their website .

HI all... Thanks a ton to all for these links.... I tried all the solutions... 1. ITextSharp - it does not copy images.... 2. SautinSoft - It converts only first 3 pages.... It is a trial version dll... I am not getting its full version for free download... If it is possible by ITextsharp please do let me know... If any other solution is available please help !! Hi... The link shows to convert doc to pdf... I want its reverse ... I want PDF to WORD file.... I tried this code... but it did not work.... And I want it in simple asp.net c# web application... My scenario is - 1. User selects a pdf file (either using FileUpload control or simply by giving the address i.e. @C:\Temp\abcd.pdf) 2. User clicks a button Convert to Word. 3. System converts that particular file to word document. Please help me out with this.... I also tried it with iTextSharp (since its a free dll)... but it is not working... Any suggestions ??
