performance issue

Hi All i have 10000 Records when page load i display all records so its take 3 mins time  Now i need 1 mins its Display all Records how to do  please give me any Suggestions. Thanks & Regards SubbaReddy VC.

First you need to find out the root cause of slow performance issue. 1. Check database - Execute the SQL or SP see how much time it is taking. If it takes more time than you need to optimise the Query add non-clustered index..Use sql profiler to see the issue. 2. Check in Application side - Use tracing and see how much time taking to bind the data. if it takes more time than use paging concept lazy loading or use client side grid etc.. 3. Check in Network side - If above steps works fine then if the network is working fine.

I don't know why you are loadingall the 10000 records at a time intothe page. Instead of that you canprovide some pagination to the user it will solve your most of the issue in terms of performance. However the below are mypractical suggestion for you: 1. Take a look at the query and joins 2. Run the queryand find the execution plan so that you can get a quick idea where it will takemuch time. 3. Checkproper indexcreated in the tables. 4. Use Stored procedure instead of inline queries. If you follow the above most of theperformance issue willbe solved.
