I am using visual studio 2013 I am interested in created a application that will accept user input through a website interface and store the data in a data base can someone assist me with a step by step process to accomplish this and direct me to the tools I will need? A website containing this information would be helpful too thank you!

I want to simulate a merchant website. Specifically a car rental website where the user goes to the website enters data into fields and the data interacts with a database to display availability of cars payment accepted/denied etc.
