Pocket PC game

Question

Hello I'm a beginnerand i would like to develop a game for pocket pc devices.What language is suitable to develop such an application?Does anyone have the tutorial or source code on game for beginner?For example full source code on pacman game. Thank You

There are many languages you can choose from but to develop a game for pocket pc devices depends largely on your specification. Ask yourself these questions: Do you need platform independence and complicated programming features? If so pick Java or other open source languages. Or do you just need a beautiful graphical representation of a simple game? If so you can try Flash/Shockwave by using Flash MX (eval. version 30 days) which is relatively easy to learn. Then you can just place the game on a web server which is accessible to everyone via Internet. You will also need an emulator to cross-check the best is to have a real pda to try on. Why? Because there are constraints on a real pda that is not reflected on an emulator. For every language there are always sites that will provide tutorials or samples. For Flash games try FlashKit.com. But be honest respect the author of the sample and give due credits when you use it. Do not copy the entire thing and say it is yours: it a breach of copyright. Also add some personnal touch to the sample when you use it originality is a gift.
