populating list box with file names

hey guys im new here~! i have a noob question for you; how do i populate a list box with all the file names that end with .pyr in a certain folder :) thx much ryan

We'll assume your ListBox name is lb. Then: DirectoryInfo di=new DirectoryInfo(path);//path is a string representing the desired search folder FileInfo[] fi=di.GetFiles(searchstring);//search string would be in your case *.pyr foreach(FileInfo tmpfi in fi) lb.Items.Add(tmpfi.Name);
