Problem in crystal report

Question

I have problem in crystal report when i install my project to other computer.it gives login failed error , because database connection path & crystal reports path is not valid.

How should i set default path to the database & crystal reports.

please give me the solution of this problem urgently....

Hi suhas, you received Login failed error, becuase of Connection String in your Code. Check Database Connection Strings in Your Project . I think the Error for Crystal Report is due to wrong Path Provided, i mean you may used like C://foldername/crystal Report name to represent Crystal Report in your code. I suggest you to Use : Server.MapPath( "Crystal Report Name.rpt " ); Thank you If it helps you, then mark as "Correct Answer"

Hi Suhas! Change Computer name (Properties of My Computer—Computer Name—change computer name) You can change computer name meanwhile Server Name where you can install your project (another PC) same as where from you deployed project… for example (1st PC name server, you can ensure another computer name also server).
