problem in masked textbox

Question

on a form load event i want date as dd/mm/yyyy in masked textbox
I have done in this way    maskedTextBox1.Text = String.Format("{0:d/M/yyyy}", DateTime.Now);
but it is coming as mm/dd/yyyy
please help its urgent
